Lapitec® and Pedini; a partnership based on technology for kitchens and furnishings

The latest example of Lapitec® in Italian excellence is in the world of cuisine.  Pedini chose the full body sintered stone for kitchen countertops and back splashes for his project in Art & Craft,  using 20 mm thick material in three Lapitec finishes; Lux, Satin and Vesuvio. Art & Craft is a program that offers unstructured kitchens that use natural materials such as wood, glass, metal and stone.

The philosophy behind this project is to bring to the world of kitchens a new vision that focuses on ideas of a laboratory; that every kitchen is decomposed into functional modules, which find there synthesis in different compositions.  The attention to detail and materials led the company to choose Lapitec®, and excellent example of how a materials can bring value to the space with both its aesthetics and incomparable technical and structure characteristics.

“Lapitec®, says Pendini Cucine, responds perfectly to our two primary needs in choice of materials, beauty and functionality. Lapitec® slabs are the perfect synthesis between aesthetics and technology.  In addition to the beauty of the colors and finishes, the large format slab size allows for very large seamless countertops, and important consideration on any kitchen design. Additionally it’s surface is non-porous, incredibly scratch and stain resistant, nearly impervious to heat, and very easy to clean and maintain.”

Lapitec® is also renowned for its versatility. Pendini has made furnishings, bedside tables as well as kitchen and dining room tables, some of which have been used in hotel settings.
